November 4

  • 2016: Cody | North Fork of the Shoshone – Two Bison were seen around Rex Hale Campground. One Bison seen at Eagle Creek on my way in. None seen moving east over Sylvan Pass.

November 5

  • 2016: Cody | North Fork of the Shoshone- One Bison seen at Eagle Creek Trailhead on my way into the park. None seen moving east over Sylvan Pass.

November 6

  • 2016: Cody | North Fork of the Shoshone – Two Bison seen at Fishhawk and one Bison seen just below Kitty Creek on my way into the park. None seen moving east over Sylvan Pass.

November 15

  • 2015: Cody WY – Friends saw a Short-tailed Weasel that was all white while they gathered firewood on Rattlesnake Mountain.

November 20

  • 2015: Cody WY – a report came in that Mule Deer bucks were seen sniffing around the does on the Cody golf course.

November 29

  • 2013: Cody | Beck Lake & Alkalai Lake – early morning was barely frozen. Enough for the birds to be on top of the ice, but it seems they are waiting for it to melt in the day. Parts had frozen ‘ripples’ in the ice, fooling us into thinking it was open water, but the birds on top gave it away.
  • 2015: Cody WY – A female kestrel was seen in the golf course area.
